Come and see all of Mountain Valley View Farm’s baby animals! We’re gradually heading into Spring, the time of year for sweet, adorable babies that will warm your heart and entertain you with their playful antics. Right now, our Petting Farm has newborn lambs and goats, and soon we will have baby chicks from many of our exotic birds as well. Your family will love seeing all of these cute, cuddly babies and learning about how they are cared for on our farm.

Petting farms are an affordable, family-friendly way to spend an afternoon together in the fresh air and beauty of the Inland Northwest. It is not only fun, but can be educational too, as children can learn about the different animals.

Our Babydoll Southdown sheep have given birth to several lambs! This adorable breed of sheep has a distinctive curly fleece and a sweet teddy bear face that will melt your heart. They originated in the South Down hills of Sussex County, England. The small size of the Babydoll Southdown makes them perfect for hobby farms, mini farms or rural homes with smaller acreage. Babydoll Southdown sheep are known for their docile dispositions. They are often kept as pets, and are also prized for their fine wool.

We also have baby kids from our Nubian goats! Nubians are the most popular breed of goat in the United States. They are known as excellent dairy goats, producing a large quantity of creamy milk that is higher in butter content than any other breed. They also make good pets, and are gentle, intelligent, and very friendly. Nubian goats love to interact with people and have a playful spirit that makes them a joy to watch.
